Summer / Fall Term
The Summer/Fall Term prepares the Royal Blue performers for the year. We begin teaching routines for competitions, but our main focus at this time of year is our "Nutcracker" and Christmas Soundsational" performances. Rehearsals begin in the summer with a 2 week summer training camp. Summer/Fall term runs from August-December. This is the time of year were most of our new students join the program. Some of our students come to us with no experience or training. The Blue Rose staff is driven to make sure that our students finish the term as successful as they can be. Along with our 2 big performances, we perform for many public Christmas events.
The Nutcracker & The Kingdom Of Yule
This production kicks off our Christmas season in November and acts like a fundraiser performance for the company. Not only is the Nutcracker a Christmas tradition for many dance groups across the globe, but out version of the story is unique while keeping the love of ballet and other dance styles in this timeless classic. This performance also highlights some of our students in leading roles like Clara, Sugar Plum Fairy, and other Sweets.
Christmas Soundsational
Blue Rose Performing Arts presents the Christmas Soundsational every December. This is our end of year giant production. The Christmas Soundsational has all of your favorite holiday songs displayed through the world of dance. Once again all of our dancers have the opportunity to be a part of the production. Our show is a tribute to many Christmas classics, but original to our style.
