Rules
ATTENDANCE
Attend as many rehearsals as possible so that you don’t fall behind in the routines. You want to practice at home and get better every day. Apply the notes that were given to you at practice. There are no refunds for missed rehearsals. There will be makeup classes for any classes that were cancelled due to weather or any other reason. If you know you will not make it to a certain date, notify the staff ASAP.
TUITION POLICY
We understand making your child a dancer is an expense. That is why Blue Rose aims to make fees cheaper than an average studio. We will help you out in any way that we can for your child to continue in our program, but you must play your part and participate in the fundraising activities.
OBSERVATION POLICY
Parents are more than welcome to come watch their child during class. Watching your child's progression in class is recommended. Although, it is not mandatory for you to come watch class.
CLASS BEHAVIOR
All of our students should have an enjoyable and good experience with Blue Rose. All new students should look over these simple rules.....
1. Pay Attention to your instructor. Do not talk to your friends during class. It makes it difficult for others to learn with that kind of distraction.
2. Arrive prepared to class. On Time, Attire, Grooming, Energy, and Attitude.
3. Treat other with the same respect you would like to receive.
We ask 3 things from each member of the Blue Rose Performing Arts
1. Commitment
2. Time
3. Respect
CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE
Reasonable rules and standards are set to create discipline. Students should arrive to class prepared or with sufficient time to get ready. If class starts at 5:00 that means you arrive at 4:50.
Instructors have the right to dismiss students with bad behavior, not participating, or not dressed appropriately.
PERFORMANCES
All performers are required to perform at our annual Recital in June.
Each performer is required to purchase 15 tickets (Unless you are in only one number)
VOLUNTEERS
Parents are required to volunteer a minimum of 2 hours at some point in the semester.
COMMUNICATION
Communication is key! We try our best to share all of our information with members and parents through our BAND app, Text, email, and word of mouth. It is still important for students to make sure they communicate with their parents about everything!
