Dress Code

GROOMING

Blue Rose Dancers should always look professional at performances, and rehearsals. Hair must be up and out of your face in either a ballet bun, ponytail, or french braid.

​

Make sure you take care of your personal hygiene overtime you attend. 

​

Dangly Jewelry is not allowed to be worn during class. It can be considered. 

​

DRESS CODE

Leotards are highly encouraged to be worn to class. Any style or material is fine. Make sure it is appropriate. 

​

Dance Crop tops, Dance tops, Sports bras, or Dance bras are acceptable to wear to class.

​

Legging, Sweats, Jazz Pants, and Shorts are acceptable for class, as long as they are not restraining for your dance movements.

​

T-shirts can can be worn over leotards as long as it is not baggy.

​

Sweaters, hoodies, and coverups are allowed to be worn and are mandatory to have during cold outside rehearsals as long as it is not baggy or restraining.

 

Sweaters, hoodies, and coverups must be taken off after you are warmed up for "dance class". 

​

Sweaters, hoodies, and coverups will not be allowed to be worn during summer camp.

 

 

 

BOYS DRESS CODE

Jazz pants, Sweat Pants, or Shorts can be worn with a T-shirt or muscle shirt. 

​

SHOES FOR REHEARSALS

Tan or black slip on Jazz shoes 

Ballet slippers (any color)

Half soles or feeties 

Capezio or Bloch Tap shoes lace ups (Only if you are practicing tap)

Black or tan Capezio Character shoes (must be 2 inch heels)

Hip Hop Shoes can be any kind of workout shoe, sneaker, or supra.

All members need running or workout shoes.

​

If you do not have dance shoes for class, you will be asked to dance barefoot.

NO DANCING IN SOCKS!!! IT IS DANGEROUS!!!

Jeans

Jean shorts

Inappropriate shirts

You will be asked to sit out, if you're not dress appropriately for class.
